Celebrate Levon Helm’s Birthday @ Levon Helm Studios

Shortly after Levon Helm passed away on April 19, it became clear his home/studio would host more music. The first concert at The Band drummer’s home/studio in Woodstock, New York since he left us will take place on May 26th – the day the legendary musician would’ve turned 72. Helm’s manager Barbara O’Brien explained the reason behind the show on Facebook, “We all felt the need to be together and we’d like you to be there with us. It’s time for the healing to begin and we know Levon would want that to happen through music at the barn. In keeping with tradition, please bring a food item for the community snack tables.”

The concert will feature many of the musicians who played with Levon at his Midnight Rambles over the years including Larry Campbell, Amy Helm, Teresa Williams, Byron Isaacs and Justin Guip. Tickets are on sale now for $100 through LevonHelm.com.
