Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra performed two shows last week at Public Works in San Francisco, CA, as part of their pre-release tour behind Palmer's second solo album Theatre is Evil, due out on September 11, 2012. Glide staff photographer Joan Bowlen captured the two different shows– one of which was a plugged-in “rock” show (Friday, 07/13) and then a stripped-down, raw acoustic performance “art” show (Thursday, 07/12), which was open only to Kickstarter backers.
