Debuting A Music Service For Mac Users

With the recent popularity of the iPod portable music playerm, Macintosh users will have a major subscription music service available to them. Apple Computer Inc. and major record labels will be launching an online music subscription service within the next coming weeks. Currently the three major music subscription providers- pressplay, Listen.com and MusicNet do not work on Macintosh computers. This service will use a high-fidelity format called Advanced Audio Codec, which delivers higher quality sound than the MP3 format and prevents copying between computers.

Try and get your road tripping done in March, as American motorists have been warned that gas prices in April will average a record high of $1.76 per gallon. Afterwards, prices may recede. Sen. Joe Lieberman recently called on the Bush Administration to investigate if customers are getting screwed at the pumps. Consumer groups have begun to question whether big oil companies were taking advantage of war concerns to boost gasoline prices by more than what was justified. Either way, with the tax filing deadline and gas, April looks to be a costly month.

Huge Dave Matthews Band Tour This Summer

If only his upcoming sold out intimate acoustic tour with Tim Reynolds was this accessible. The Dave Matthews Band has announced a huge summer tour running from June 17th through September 20th in a message posted from their fan club the Warehouse. Fifty-four dates have been announced that include two night runs at virtually almost every major outdoor ampitheater in the country including The Gorge, Shoreline, Alpine Valley, Verizon Wireless (formerly Deer Creek), SPAC, Riverbend Music Center, Star-Lake, The Meadows, and the Tweeter Centers in both New Jersey and Massachusetts. Tickets are available through the Warehouse ticketing service starting March 8th and running through March 17th.
