Particle treated Portland to non-stop head-bobbing Dance Music for much of the night and converted many in attendance into full-fledged Particle People. With Phish on the shelf forever, Particle promises to carry the jamband scene, with the help of their contemporaries, well into the twenty first century.

Tribute albums are often tricky. Should a band stay faithful to the original version or try to bring a new interpretation of the song to the table? There are solid arguments for both sides of the coin. Luckily for us, the fine folks at Sanctuary Records have provided us with a tribute album that serves to both.
Through relentless touring over the last couple years and word-of-mouth, Particle has quickly made a name for themselves by exciting audiences with their self-described “space porn” at festivals, clubs and late-night parties around the country.
