Khruangbin’s second of two sold-out shows at Roadrunner in Boston featured the kind of on-stage charisma, glamor, and production that makes it hard to imagine them coming back to town
Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators have released the new song “Call Off The Dogs,” from their upcoming album titled 4, which is due out February 11, 2022, on Gibson Records, in partnership
Erotic fan fiction has never been so charming and heartwarming.
After a nice break for the holidays, MY ROOTS returns this week with something a little different to welcome in the new year. A few months ago, I sat down with the three musicians who make up the core of Slash’s solo band: bass player Todd Kerns, drummer Brent Fitz and newest member Frank Sidoris. But instead of doing an interview the old-fashioned way, we did a sort of round robin that was both serious and fun.
Following a few more solo dates and a couple big festivals, Slash will take his band to Europe and Canada, this time hitting our North American neighbor more thoroughly than last time, and also a few more exotic countries are on the agenda. “Slash has never played India or Beirut so it’s pretty exciting,” said Kerns about the band’s upcoming plans. In the fall, they plan on making another run through the states and from what some fans have told me, they are letting the Hard Rock in Biloxi know that they want Slash back again ASAP.

Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers will spend the next few months on the road.
Fiona Apple will hit the road for a six-date tour next month.
The bad ass in the top hat is busy. He is hunkered down in the Barefoot Recordings Studio playing guitar, as his crackerjack band-mates – Todd Kerns on bass, Brent Fitz on drums and Myles Kennedy on vocals – surround him as they record the old-fashioned way: on two-inch analog tape, a wet dream to those who love the pristine sound that comes from using this method over pro-tools modernity.
Myles Kennedy is certainly a man in demand. When he's not on the road or recording with his band Alter Bridge, then he's typically on the road or recording with Slash.
