10 Years Ago Today- Buffalo Springfield Regroups For First Show in 43 Years (Watch “Rock & Roll Woman”)

Ten years ago today (10/23/10), Buffalo Springfield performed their first shows in 43 years when they regrouped for Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit (where they played both nights). Featuring original members Neil Young, Stephen Stills and Richie Furay along with Rick Rosas (bass) and Joe Vitale (drums), filling in for the deceased Bruce Palmer and Dewey Martin, the band ran through a 13 song set that covered the band’s short-lived last 60’s history. This version of Buffalo Springfield performed six more shows before calling it the end of this chapter. Watch the band perform “Rock & Roll Woman” from the reunion show on 10/23/90.
