20 years ago today (10/6/96), The Rolling Stones’ Rock and Roll Circus is finally released.It is a live album that captures the taping of their ill-fated 1968 TV special, which was not broadcast until decades later. The show features The Who and a performance by John Lennon (with Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell and Stones’ guitarist Keith Richards playing bass).  Watch the Stones in all their 1968 glory rip out “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” from the album…
