20 Years Ago Today- Run D.M.C. Released Its Seventh & Final LP ‘Crown Royal’ (Listen to “Queens Day” Feat Nas)

20 years ago today (4/3/01), Run D.M.C released Crown Royal, its seventh and final album. The album featured a number of guest appearances including spots by Sugar Ray, Fred Durst, and Kid Rock. But there are some legit contributors including Method Man and Nas. Crown Royal never lived up to a keeper in Run D.M.C.’s catalog, as at the time there was still possibly more to come from the trio, but the murder of DJ Jam Master Jay, on October 30, 2002, was the final nail in the band’s coffin. Listen to “Queens Day” feat. Nas & Prodigy of Mobb Deep from Crown Royal..
