32 years ago today (2/14/86), Frank Zappa appeared on an episode of the television series Miami Vice. Zappa portrayed a crime boss named ‘Mr. Frankie.’ The musician over course acted in in his own productions including 200 Motels, but it was this appearance in the midst of the Reagan era that raised a few eyebrows so to speak.
