25 Years Ago Today – Phish Releases ‘A Picture of Nectar’ LP (Listen to “Mango Song” Live ’92)

25 years ago today (2/18/92), Phish released their third studio album A Picture of Nectar. The album is a tribute to Nector Rorris, owner of the Burlington, VT bar/restaurant that allowed Phish plenty of gigs which “taught them how to play.” The album itself contains many songs that remain signature songs in the band’s live catalog including: “Tweezer,” “Chalkdust Torture,” “Stash,” “Cavern” and “Poor Heart.” Check out this version of one of the album’s songs that doesn’t get played live too much these days: “Mango Song” – live from 4/19/92 in Santa Cruz…
