25 years ago today (9/8/92), Screaming Trees released their sixth full-length album Sweet Oblivion. Released at the peak of the grunge hype, the album hosted the band’s biggest hit to date “Nearly Lost You,” which was featured on the Singles soundtrack. Lead singer Mark Lanegan has since gone onto a prolific solo career and considered one of the most frequent voices on other artists’ albums.
