40 years ago today (3/10/80), Billy Joel released his seventh studio LP Glass Houses. Noteworthy for Joel, it featured Joel’s first song to go to number 1 on Billboard‘s Pop Singles chart, “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me”. The album sported a more aggressive sound in comparison to his earlier work and was the Piano Man’s own version of punk of sorts. Check out the angry middle-aged man tune “Sometimes a Fantasy”
