40 Years Ago Today – Iron Maiden Released Self-Titled Debut LP (Watch Live at The Rainbow ’80)

The band would take on a new direction with Bruce Dickinson as lead singer in late 1981, yet Maiden’s early material contains some of their most straightforward and heavy material.
