45 Years Ago Today – Black Sabbath Releases Fourth LP ‘Black Sabbath Vol. 4’ – Listen to “Supernaut”

45 years ago today (9/25/72), Black Sabbath released their fourth studio album, Black Sabbath Vol. 4. The album which features a monochrome photograph of Ozzy Osbourne with hands raised, taken during a Black Sabbath concert was original to be titled ‘Snowblind’, after one of several songs referring to the band’s cocaine use. The album contains some of Sabbath’s heaviest songs including the riff monster “Supernaut” – hear below….
