Eight Years Ago Today – Pearl Jam Celebrates 20 Yr Anniversary With PJ20 Festival at Alpine Valley (Watch “Hunger Strike” Live)

Eight years ago today Pearl Jam (9/3/11) Pearl Jam celebrated their 20-year anniversary with the PJ20 Festival – a “destination festival” that draws 37,000. The two-day event in Alpine Valley, WI, features a Pearl Jam Museum with frontman Eddie Vedder’s handwritten and typed lyric sheets and appearances by Queens Of The Stone Age, Mudhoney and The Strokes. 2011. One of the many highlights of the weekend was the late Chris Cornell guesting on Temple of the Dog  tracks – watch here as he joins Pearl Jam at Alpine Valley for “Hunger Strike.”
