52 years ago today (4/6/66), The first session of what would become The Beatles album Revolver started in the evening at Abbey Road studios London, with the recording of the basic track of a new John Lennon song ‘Tomorrow Never Knows.’ Revolver, of course, would go on to become one of The Beatles’all-timee greats and a rock and roll treasure.
