70 Years Ago Today – The Late Warren Zevon Was Born (Watch Full Concert Live 10/1/82)

70 years ago today (1/24/47) the late Warren Zevon was born. The unique singer-songwriter and musician, who could count Bruce Springsteen as one of his biggest fans, always had a humorous and dark approach to songwriting, but lost to cancer in 2003. Some of Zevon’s most well known songs are Werewolves of London”, “Lawyers, Guns and Money”, “Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner” and “Johnny Strikes Up the Band”, all of which are featured on his third album, Excitable Boy. Glide recently stated a case for Zevon’s cruel omission from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Watch Zevon perform this full concert live from the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ on 10/1/82.
