75 years ago today, one of the premier rock vocalists of all time Joe Cocker was born on 5/20/44. Known for his gritty voice, Cocker began his singing career in the pubs and clubs of Sheffield in the 1960s before hitting the big time and had a career-defining set at Woodstock which later followed with his successful “Mad Dogs & Englishmen” tour.
