During their Beacon Theatre final shows last week, The Allman Brothers Band played tribute on 10.25 to the recently deceased Jack Bruce with a first time cover of Cream’s “Politician” from the trio’s 1968 album Wheels of Fire. Gregg Allman sat out this particular number as Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks took over the leads.
