42 years ago today on August 31, 1973, The Rolling Stones released Goat Heads Soup, their 11th British and 13th American studio album. lthough not as filled with hits as other Stones albums, it remains a fan favorite and it featured the song “Angie”, which went to No. 1 as a single in the US and top 5 in the UK and “Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)” (below).
