Happy 36th birthday to Conor Oberst who was born on 2/15/80. The frontman and leader of Bright Eyes has also played in several other bands, including Desaparecidos, Norman Bailer (The Faint), Commander Venus, Park Ave., Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band, Arab Strap and Monsters of Folk. Oberst’s last release was 2014’s Upside Down Mountain and recently completed a tour with Desaparecidos in support of 2015’s Payola. Watch Oberst perform live on KEXP from 9/29/14.
