Happy 40th birthday to Fiona Apple who was born on 9/13/77. Time does fly as Apple was 17 when her debut album, Tidal, was written and released in 1996 and it received a Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for the single “Criminal.” Apple has gone onto to release three more critically acclaimed albums and remains one of rock’s most personal and revealing singer-songwriters.
