Happy 50th birthday today to Adam Horovitz (Ad-Rock) who was born on 10/31/66. The very talented guitarist and MC was one of the three frontmen of The Beastie Boys whose scratchy vocals and tenacious rhymes helped make the trio a legacy act. Horovitz, who sports an eerie resemblance to a younger Robert Deniro, is defined by generations for his call out in “Paul Revere” – the King Adrock that is my name.
