Happy 50th birthday today to guitarist, composer, producer John Frusciante (born 3/5/70) and now beginning his third stint with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Aside from serving as the Chili Peppers’ guitarist during their most commercially and critically successful periods, Frusciante is also a buoyant and prolific musician and has released twelve solo albums and seven EPs; dabbling and experimenting in rock, ambient, club and new wave.
