Happy 60th birthday today to the frontman of Public Enemy (former singer of Prophets of Rag) and acclaimed activist, public speaker, and author Chuck D (born 8/1/60). As one of the most outspoken names in hip hop history, Chuck has rallied the masses and those without a voice for four decades plus with his recognizable and resonant voice. With this being an election year, we’ll be hearing a lot from Chuck in the next few months.
