As Iron Maiden’s Book of Souls U.S. tour goes on sale today, lets wish a Happy 60th birthday today to Janick Gers of Iron Maiden who was born on 1/27/57. Gers, the newest member of the band (joined 1990) is one of the three current guitarists in Iron Maiden, along with Dave Murray and Adrian Smith, as well as his earlier work with Gillan and White Spirit. Glide recently interviewed Gers prior to the announcement of the band’s tour in 2016. Lets watch Iron Maiden perform Live at Wacken 2016, the last show of that part of their Book of Souls tour.
