Happy 70th birthday to Wishbone Ash founding member, and its only continual member, guitarist Andy Powell (born 2/19/50). Known for its twin-guitars that broke boundaries in harmony and progressive passages, Wishbone Ash might very well be one of rock’s most underrated bands with a leadoff discography that includes: Wishbone Ash (1970), Pilgrimage (1971), Argus (1972), Wishbone Four (1973), There’s the Rub (1974), and New England (1976).
