Happy 70th Birthday today to guitar originalist Bill Frisell (born 3/15/51). Frisell is his usual spacey self with his guitar work, letting the chords linger in dreamy, somewhat off-kilter ways and has made a career out of thinking outside the box with respect to the music that he makes.
