Happy 75th birthday today to the iconic soul singer Al Green (born 4/13/46). Green has set himself apart with his soft falsetto and aching delivery on songs like “Tired of Being Alone” and “Let’s Stay Together” and most anything “love” related. Green has been inducted into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame, sold more than 20 million records, and won eight Grammy Awards along the way.
