Legendary New Orleans performer Allen Toussaint died Monday night after appearing in concert in Madrid. He was 77. His contributions to music were lengthy including penning “Sneaking Sally Through the Alley,” “On Your Way Down,” “Soul Sister,” “Country John” and more.
