On October 12 recent Blips act The Moondoggies will release their sophomore full length effort Tidelands via Hardly Art. The Seattle-based act were recently the subjects of a pretty compelling mini-documentary, that’s reminded me a lot of the interview portions of The Last Waltz

The Moondoggies, who put on a killer live show, will head out with another former Blips act Dawes for a short tour, but prior to that will play a headlining gig at New York City’s Mercury Lounge on October 27. You can download the band’s first single from Tidelands at their Facebook page.
