‘On Story’ Set To Premiere An All-New Eighth Season This April

For seven seasons The Austin Film Festival’s series On Story has given audiences in-depth conversations with some of the most prominent names in the entertainment industry. Now, its eighth season is set to premiere during the month of April, and will feature interviews with some of today’s most creative voices.

Some of the guests slated for the upcoming eighth season will include Lady Bird writer/director Greta Gerwig, Twin Peaks co-creator Mark Frost, prolific filmmaker Robert Townsend, The Walking Dead’s executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, and the legendary Walter Hill, the man behind such classics as 48 Hours and The Warriors.

As On Story writer/producer Maya Perez explains “Getting to hear these artists talk about how they do what they do—their creative processes, behind-the-scenes decisions behind our favorite TV shows, analyzing and offering new insight into beloved movies—is such a gift, and it thrills me that through On Story programming we get to share these recorded interviews with audiences around the world for free.”

While they’re produced in Austin, TX, On Story airs nationwide on Public Television nationwide, so check your local listings to see when you’ll be able to catch these one-of-a-kind interviews in your area. They’re also available as a radio series courtesy of Public Radio International, which you can find out more about here.
