There’s always been a gender gap within the jam scene as the number of men in jam-oriented groups far outweighs the number of women. That gap will close ever so slightly following the news that former HT blips artist BuzzUniverse have added singer Rosie Lazroe (The Jack) and violinist Meredith Rachel as permanent members of the group. Both ladies have made numerous appearances with BuzzUniverse over the past few years.
BuzzU is currently preparing to release their third studio album, Living Breathing Magic, on September 20 and will celebrate the LP’s release and their new lineup at The Canal Room in NYC on September 16. The North Jersey-based band have shared a few tracks from Living Breathing Magic to give a taste of what these world-meets-jam rockers are all about these days. Rock shows off what Lazroe brings to the table, while Another Way shows a different side of the band.
