The Debut of Instant Feedback and Rogue Wave’s Twitter War w/ We The Kings
One of the prevailing characteristics of Twitter is its immediacy – a simple tweet or retweet and nearly anything can go viral. After Lollapalooza announced its lineup late Monday night, we asked our @Hidden_Track followers for #instantfeedback on how they ranked the list of performers on a scale of 1-10. Based on the responses to our crowdsourcing, the lineup came in at a very average “5.”
In a different sort of twist to getting instant feedback on Twitter, Californian indie rockers Rogue Wave found themselves in Cleveland ready to play the Springfest at Case Western Reserve University, but without any instruments due to an airline losing their luggage. The band allegedly asked headliners We The Kings to borrow gear, to which We The Kings allegedly refused.
