25 Years Ago Today – Pearl Jam Releases ‘Vitalogy’ LP on Vinyl (Watch “Corduroy” Live ’95)

25 years ago today (11/22/94), Pearl Jam released their third studio album Vitalogy, which was first released on vinyl and became the first vinyl album to appear on the US chart, since CDs became the music medium of choice. They followed the release in other formats two weeks later, and cool to note it was the second-fastest-selling CD in history, behind only the band’s previous release Vs. The album itself represented Pearl Jam’s most experimental effort to date with its mix of punk, ballads and arena rockers.
